Client-side XSLT, Validation and Data Security

چکیده
Client-side XSLT (Extensible Stylesheet Language Transformations) or CSX is often used in scenarios where data (in XML, Extensible Markup Language) from a remote server provided to user who processes it some way, for example rendering locally display. That is, the provides data, and client does work on that make useful. However, not only scenario which In an environment already has, process of creating, can be convenient powerful tool, enabling users perform operations their securely own systems. The potential this use illustrated with uses SaxonJS several security-related applications.

Multi-user interaction using client-side XSLT
We describe two use-case applications to illustrate the capabilities of the first XSLT 2.0 processor designed to run within web browsers. The first is a technical documentation application, which permits browsing and searching in a intuitive way. We then present a multi-player chess game application; using the same XSLT 2.0 processor as the first application, it is in fact very different in pur...
متن کاملTowards Client-side HTML Security Policies
With the proliferation of content rich web applications, content injection has become an increasing problem. Cross site scripting is the most prominent examples of this. Many systems have been designed to mitigate content injection and cross site scripting. Notable examples are BEEP, BLUEPRINT, and Content Security Policy, which can be grouped as HTML security policies. We evaluate these system...

متن کاملXML Security Using XSLT
The eXtensible Markup Language (XML) is regarded generally as having promise of becoming established as the general purpose framework for enabling transfer of data amongst heterogeneous environments. It is of interest therefore to analyse how suitable it may be once details of applications requirements and constraints are taken into account. One important requirement is for the security of docu...
متن کاملClient Side Cloud Computing Security: a mixed Market Analysis
Could computing service providers have to ensure that the service applications, cloud software, and the physical location of the cloud are secure. Furthermore, providers need to ensure that the service is secure on the client’s side of the system. To examine the client side security level we build economic models that consider the tradeoffs between system usability and client side security rest...
